Some comments from last year, some new things to be thankful for as well.

We all do have a great deal to be thankful for.  

For starters, I do not have to cook tomorrow; Mom and I are going to Benjamin’s restaurant. I will be cooking for the entire family at Christmas.      

I am thankful that the NRTC is now full of real conservatives that are attempting to change Massachusetts one family at a time. I am also thankful that the smart people there elected me as Chairman. 

I am thankful for Earl Henry Sholley, Barney Frank’s opponent in 2010.

Then, there is life.  I'm alive and I'm healthy and so are my family members.  I thank God for that everyday.  I live in the greatest country God ever gave man, thanks to the Founding Fathers and the brave Americans who fought to make this country,  and the military who today fight to keep it free.  Anything is possible in this country as long as you are willing to work for it.  I am employed in a good job, and a lot of people are not.  So if you are employed, be sure to thank God tonight.  Then there is Talk Radio and Fox News, I am proud that we have the freedom of speech (at least for now).   I would like to thank all of you, my brethren and sistren at Townhall.com for welcoming me with open arms to join the brave fight we fight everyday. It is a pleasure to read your posts and get your opinions on various issues. There is a real sense of community at Townhall that you do not get at other sites.  Even though this site could use some improvements, I thank the people at Townhall for giving me a forum for my views.   Then there is Arizona Iced Tea, nuff said, the greatest drink of all time.  

Let’s also be thankful, Bob McDonnell is now Governor-elect of Virginia.

As Jackie Gleason used to say “How sweet it is”!  What goes around comes around.  Here is another lesson for you Dave if you’re going to attack people, make sure the inside of your house is clean and it sits on a sturdy foundation. You are a hypocrite.   I am capable of attacking people like Governor Mark Sanford (which I did by the way, and I do think he should resign) because I am a real Christian who would never get involved in anything of that nature.   However you were doing something even worse than he was. I live by this rule, “If you live it, you can preach it, if you don’t, you can’t”.     As far as your comments about Governor Sarah Palin and her daughters, that was totally out of line. Teenage pregnancy can happen to any family and considering what you were involved in, you should not have made a comment about anyone else’s sex life.   I can say this “No one in the Palin family ever had to use the threat of loss of employment power to obtain sexual intercourse.” You can’t say that Dave…

Now it’s time for some full disclosure.  In the 1980’s and early 1990’s there was no bigger fan of David Letterman than myself. His first late night show “Late Night with David Letterman” on NBC was one of the funniest shows on TV. I went to see his NBC show a few times. In 1993 I went to one of his last shows he did before moving to CBS.   In 1995 (long time readers of my blog will know why that year was so important) I went to his CBS show “The Late Show” twice because I wanted to see Dave in case I did not make it much further.      Since 1999 I seen a big change in Dave, he no longer goes after all politicians equally.    He only attacks conservative Republicans and conservative Independents. In the 1980’s he used to attack everyone equally the way Jay Leno does now. I understood that comedians are supposed to make fun of everyone and everything, so sitting down to watch Dave I knew I was going to here jokes about people I liked. That was fine, because he always balanced it out. In the last few years Dave has gone from telling jokes to vicious evil attacks on people he disagrees with, and at the same time refusing to even tell a harmless joke about his hero President Obama. They should have Dave take over “Face the Nation” on Sunday Mornings.   His show is now liberal politics instead of comedy. He is no longer funny, he is just pathetic.   Most of his jokes about conservatives don’t even make liberals laugh anymore. 

In closing, I hope his wife leaves him and she takes her son away from this bad influence. I can’t imagine what that kid is going to go through when he is older, I feel sorry for him.   I hope the women involved (that should have dimed this guy out earlier) all write books about this and his life is slowly ruined. By the way Dave, since you thought Governor Mark Sanford should resign but you wanted him to stay in a little bit longer so you could make fun of him. Then you should resign too, but stay just a little while longer so we can all have fun making fun of you.   You are a rotten, worthless piece of trash.

The Tea Party went well. No media showed up this time. A lot of people did though. It’s good to meet people that share your values.

Everybody around the country is asking; who is Barney Frank’s Opponent?   The answer is Earl Henry Sholley. He is right on most of the issues. He is pro-life and pro-gun. He supports private sector healthcare. He promotes small government and lower taxes.   The problem is he does not have a lot of money. Barney Frank has a ton of money.   There is a groundswell of anger building at Barney Frank but no one knows who his opponent is.   I’ve invited him to my next meeting September 17^th. No matter where you live in this country, Congressman Barney Frank is a national problem.  People all over the country want to know how to contribute to Barney Frank’s Opponent. Today (June 27), I turn 37 years old.  Which some people say is the start of being middle aged... I was born in the back seat of a 1969 Ford Galaxy on the way to the hospital.   Sorry I have been away so long but work, running this committee, and life in general have gotten in the way of blogging.  Here are some random thoughts on what has been going on.

Mark Sanford is a stupid disgrace.  Any man that cheats of his wife is a disgrace, but to do it when you are going to run for President is stupid.  I'm glad it happened in 2009 and not in 2012.   Good-bye Greyhound. You're gone!!!           

Michael Jackson is dead.  Why do we have saturation coverage of this?  Iran, North Korea, two bad bills on healthcare and energy, and this all goes away because Michael Jackson died?  The coverage should be on E Entertainment Television, not anywhere else.   Everything has become American Idol now.  Pretty soon getting on that show will be the only way to get a job.

ABC did some propaganda on how great President Obama's Health Care Takeover is.  If something is on TV but nobody watches it, is it really on????  ABC lost credibility a long time ago.

President-Elect Obama and the Democrat Congress are still talking about the need for "Universal Healthcare".  This is one of the biggest lies ever told.   What we need is healthcare reform, just like we need reform in so many other places of government bureaucracy.  I just love it when Speaker Pelosi says "If you like your current plan, you can keep your current plan, the government plan will be for those who do not have a plan or for people who do not like their current plan." 

So Democrats are going to give people a choice. If people like paying $30, $60 or $90 s a week or more to their employer for their healthcare, they can still do so, and the government will be taking at least $150 out of the same paycheck each week to pay for everyone else who is under the "government plan".   Boy, that sounds good, sign me up for that........ 

On the other hand, they could drop the employer plan and join the "government plan' Gee, something tells me a lot of people would probably choose this option. 

The United States government cannot sustain a program that would be this big, even with taking $150 from every paycheck without rationing vital healthcare services.  For example just look at countries that have already adopted "universal healthcare" such as England and Canada, first, everyone that needs a live saving operation comes to this country to get it done because they only do so many live saving surgeries a year because the government cannot afford it.  Second, everyone that does not want to go to work every day in those countries simply drives to hospital says, there knee, shoulder, or head hurts so they cannot work.  It's all paid for, so why not?  Third, doctors and nurses in those countries are not able to keep up with the sheer number of patients, and the more patients a doctor has the less time and care the doctor provides for each patient.  Fourth, insurance that doctors have to buy in those countries has skyrocketed as well because once the government is involved, in come the lawyers. Insurance for doctors is already high enough in this country Fifth,  since the government is in charge of the entire system, the government has a say in life or death decisions in which a patient is "worth saving"  or not.  Considering the stances of most governments when it comes to life issues, that is a scary thought.

In other news… “Wasn’t that a dainty bow before the Saudi King?”   Hey TOTUS (not a typo), why are you lying? You bowed. It was a bow.   It was not a handshake.    President Bush made a mistake when he kissed him, but he did not lie about it afterword.   You are making it worse by not telling the truth.    Speaking of lying….

Vice President Joseph Biden, you cannot operate the way you used to. There are people who know who know you are a pathological liar, incapable of telling the truth if lives depended on it. Even Team Obama is saying the “meeting” never happened.  You should be ashamed of yourself. Oh, I forgot you are a Biden, you have no shame. 

If this is how President Obama handles “pirates”,   I can’t imagine what is going to happen if there is another major terrorist attack in this country.  Oh, I’m sorry Madame Secretary, I meant “man-made caused incident”

There are many Tea Parties happening on Wednesday. The one in San Antonio has the best theme music and web promo. I will be at the Boston Tea Party. We will be at the field in front of the State House on Beacon Street in Boston.  I will be wearing my colonial gear that I got in Williamsburg, VA a few years ago.   I hope every single one of you can get the day off from work and head to a Tea Party.   

Have a wonderful Easter, and remember it’s not about eggs and rabbits. It’s about Christ and his sacrifice for all of us.
